What is Resurfacing?

The term "resurfacing" is used to describe what many people call "reglazing" or "refinishing". We say Resurfacing because many surfaces besides just porcelain tubs can be refinished. Ceramic tile, plastic laminate (such as Formica_TM), solid surface (like Corian_TM), cultured marble, fiberglass, and acrylic can all be repaired and patched or completely resurfaced. Rather than tearing out that tile or replacing that dull or worn tub, Resurface it. Kitchen or bathroom counters that are dull and lifeless can have a new look and a NEW highly durable surface as well.

The high-tech coatings used by Colonial Marble SurfaceTech are rated for 24/7 underwater service. Most other refinishing companies use coatings which are rated for only incidental service.
